The fourth of the Seven Stars, the Kuro Sasori Toukutsu-dan (Black Scorpion Grave Robber Group, or Dark Scorpions in the English card game) are actually Duel Monsters posing in various roles at Duel Academia. Don Zaloog meets Juudai, Asuka, and Manjoume under the disguise of a detective named Keibu Magure. He tells them they should hide their keys rather than keep them on their person all the time. While hiding their keys, they meet Gorg (disguised as a janitor), Chick (as an Osiris Red student), Meanae (as a nurse), and Cliff (a policeman).
That night, the group wakes up to find the keys they hid stolen. They hold a meeting, and in a very Detective Conan-esque scene, Manjoume unveils the culprits (after a few lost pieces of evidence) to be the Black Scorpions. He hid an Ojama card along with each key, so the Ojamas served as "eyewitnesses" to each theft. After a rather confusing discussion of proof, Magure points out that Manjoume is right, and the disguised Black Scorpions reveal themselves.
A duel is set up between Manjoume and Don Zaloog. By the middle of the duel, everyone's wondering if Manjoume can counter the Black Scorpions' excellent combo, but he, being Manjoume, has a few tricks up his sleeve himself. He defeats the Black Scorpions with Ojama King and their souls are sealed into a card.
Later, the Black Scorpions can be seen bothering Manjoume in his room late at night while he's trying to sleep, causing a racket only he can hear. The Black Scorpions accept that this is the way their life should be as Duel Monsters.
